Fashion is becoming one of the most exciting frontiers for social robotics, where technology, design, creativity, and human expression come together. From smart textiles and wearable robotics to robotic garments, interactive fashion, and AI-assisted design, this emerging field is reshaping how we think about clothing, identity, and human–robot interaction.
At ICSR 2026 + ART, Robot & Fashion is featured as one of the conference’s key creative themes. The conference brings together researchers, designers, artists, engineers, fashion technologists, and industry innovators to explore how robotics can inspire new forms of fashion while fashion, in turn, influences the design, appearance, and social acceptance of robots.
